We make time for each other.

We've been pretty under the radar as of late-- a shload of schoolwork will do that to even the tightest of besties. :/  But I'd just like to let everyone know that we're still around/up to the the same old nonsense whenever possible! -B

Catch up time!

No sillies, not this kind:

The kind where I catch up with some important events that I have not yet blogged!
December and on has been so extremely busy that I forgot all about posting pictures and videos from our annual girls Christmas party! Which was probably the best ever this year!

Instead of making our usual formal dinner we wised up to save time and went to Cafe Rio all dressed up. We got the food to go and went back to my house and ate it at the adorably decorated table.

Then we decided to play some games, which if you know us, they were of course cray cray. Pair up two perfectionists, two very competitive people, and the two people who are most likely to pee their pants, and you have yourself some good times.

After the games it was time to open presents!!! The best part of the night. We draw names at random and have so much fun buying gifts for each other. I (Hannah) had Devin, Devin had Jenna, Jenna had Britania, Britania had Bailey, Bailey had Keala, and Keala had me! As usual the presents were amazing and so fun :)

Afterward we snacked on treats and snuggled up to watch a movie.

I love my best friends so much, words cannot express. I hope that we continue the tradition of the Girls Christmas Party until we're 90 years old. It brings all of us together and allows us to act like 7th graders again.

-Thank you for all the incredible memories girls-

"You can cover a great deal of country in books." -Andrew Lang

I can't sleep for some odd reason.
My bedtime was approximately 3 hours ago. :/
boo.
Thank goodness for books.
& besties.
Thank goodness my besties love books as much as I do.

Birthday Guuurl! 90's style *

Britania Diann
Hopefully all of you are aware that Britania's birthday was on Saturday :)
You should be because we have a countdown on our blog. Some people are very fearful of getting older and Tani is one of them. She was clinging to her 19 year old-ness all last week. Jenna and I thought that instead of doing the standard birthday party, we would savor her last night of being a teenager. We wanted to take things back to our roots...

Question: What was good about the 90's...?
Answer: What wasn't good about the 90's...?

The 90's. When we really were young.

We told Britania that we would just be taking her to dinner the night before her birthday (borrring). Instead Keala, Jenna, and I picked her up and drove down to Macaroni Grill. After she told us how hungry she was and how good Macaroni Grill sounded we handed her a clue-All of which were written by Jenna, duh.

1. Oh we fooled you cause we're so funny
this poem is for the birthday bunny
we're stealing back what father time took
but first we're going to need the right look
Mrs. B. Spears was quite the trend setter
everything in the 90's was just way better
blue eye shadow, lip liner, and a half bun
let's go change so we can have some fun.

She was confused and we immediately blind folded her and left Macaroni Grill without eating. We came to my house and got her dressed in 90's attire while we listened to Christina Aguilera.

Finished 90's product, Zetus lupetus we look good!!!

After we were all ready to go we got in the car and gave her the second clue:

2. Don't lie you love this blast from the past
and we're going to make your teens last and last
J.T.T and Hanson made the 90's so hot
let's play like babies and not get caught
now that you're looking oh so pretty
let's hit up that classy place called Nik City.

We hit up Nickle City (Jenna needs to add pics) and we got several stares. We could tell that people were mostly wondering "are they serious or are they dressed up..? I can't tell." So that was a lot of fun. I had my car keys on my J Lo pant belt loop so that was a lot of fun. We bought Disney Princess tattoos with our tickets.

After this we gave Tani the last clue and an old school slumber party invitation:

3. Cool cool you love being a little little kid
except you don't have crazy curly hair but we know you did
but the night is still young, as young as you
and we've got some stuff planned for us to do
kids are insane and like to cause trouble
old kids are better and like to cause double.

We went to Fat Cats, got our pic taken in the photo booth, got Jenna some gluten free food and went to my house where the 90's slumber party was started. We ordered pizza and had cake and ice cream. We snuggled, loved each other, and of course watched Devil Wears Prada.
All in all an amazing birthday filled with fun and lot's of laughter. In the morning we woke up and took the birthday girl to breakfast where she opened presents :)

Happy Birthday Britania!!!
We love you so much you still young at heart 20 year old :)

Expecto Patronum!!!

I don't know about you followers, but I'm for sure having mid-week blues.
There's only two things that can make me truly happy when I'm feeling overwhelmed with work and school: My best friends, and

Siriusly (pun intended), there's nothing more calming to the nerves than listening to an H.P. audiobook in the morning when getting ready... or while driving to school... or at night before bed.. or basically anytime at all during the day. The melodious sound of Jim Dale's voice recounting the tales of Harry and friends is better than music to the K3y Three's ears.

Throughout our extensive Harry Potter discussions, we often times place ourselves in the story and imagine what we would do in certain situations in the wizarding world. One thing we know for sure is what our individual patronouses would be.

Hannah:

There's no doubt that Han's patronous would take the shape of a baby lamb. Not only are they her favorite animals, but they're the perfect representation of her personality. Super sweet, loving, and gentle, with a playful and rambunctious side.

Britania:
Britania's would undoubtedly take the shape of a bunny. Cuddly big eyed creatures with fluffy little tails could not be more perfect for her. They're curious and burrow in the ground to have their babies. Their little noses twitch with excitement and they'll never turn down a carrot or some grass. (-written by Hannah)

Jenna:

J-Mama's patronous would most definitely be a hummingbird. They're so little and delicate, just like her. They seem super busy as they fly around energetically. Jenna is so excited all the time, so a cute little colorful hummingbird is absolutely perfect for her.

I highly suggest that you and your besties sit down and figure out what animal best represents your personalities. You never know when you might stumble across a dementor in a dark alley, and you best have a patronous on your side to protect your soul..

Keep up the best friending!!

Brains, Brawn, and Wildcard!

What a week!
It's only Tuesday...?
Feels more like a groundhogs day type Thursday.
No matter. I have 2 best friends that get me through. Aren't best friends the greatest?
Both of my besties have their own ways of making me smile and I'm so thankful for them :)
As you probably know, every member of the K3y Three has their own role to play.
We're a lot like these guys:

Jenna, being the brains, has a very important part to play. She's the friend that has to be convinced to do things. For example, skip class, buy an article of clothing, stay out later, eat bread, etc. She's very busy with school at all times and her go to phrases are: "I should probably go...", "I'm in the library", or "I have to study". Don't think that she's not up for some serious cray cray-ness though. She will not hesitate to clamber into a highchair or put something odd on her head or face for a picture. She also turns into someone too funny when she's in the back seat of a car.

Another important part of the K3y Three is the brawn, aka--Britania. Jenna's fingers are too slender and my wrists are too weak..or we're just too scared of lifting heavy objects. It's not a problem though, anytime something heavy ( a backpack, a box, a chair, a textbook) needs to be lifted into the back of someones car or up on a shelf, Britania just knows that no one else is physically able/doesn't want to do it. Most common phrases from Tani include: "I'll be at the mall if you need me", "I don't wanna grow up", and "Why am I so socially awkward and shifty eyed"? Britania is usually laughing so hard that she can't speak and taking care of everyone but herself. We didn't play volleyball for 12 years like she did, and we're yet to work out. We also don't like to carry ourselves sometimes...

Someone has to be the wildcard in this group, and it's gonna be me. Usually the things that come out of my mouth are unpredictable and sometimes inappropriate. I will talk to strangers and I'm for sure the person that uses people's name tags at restaurants and grocery stores. I am very assertive and will get things done for my besties. If they want a booth- I'll get a booth, if we need to lodge a complaint-I'll be the one to do it, and if someone messes with them-defensive Hannah will take care of it. Impulsive buyer is a good phrase to describe me. Common phrases out of my mouth: "You should buy it", "I'm buyin' this", and "I'm gonna freak out". No one really knows what I'm gonna do next which makes me the wildcard. These were the most random pictures I could find of myself so I thought they fit.

If you and your besties have not assigned roles..do it. It makes everything easier when you expect certain behavior. You might be smart, you might be able to carry heavy things, or you might be cray cray. Whatever your strength, I'm sure you'll be of use to your besties.
