Princess Obsession

Okay, so I'm sitting here super bored at work, looking at pictures of my Disney princess. Every single girl in the world has THEIR Disney princess. Even if you haven't fully declared which princess you are, their is definitely a princess you share an uncommon bond of similarity with..or you just like their outfits/songs the best. Since this is a best friend blog, here are the princesses that light up our lives.
p.s. Its also not a crime to pick your princess based upon the prince they end up with. Disney princes are hot.

Jenna or should we call her Aurora, spends most of her time wandering around the forest, singing, and hanging out with her animal friends. She also lives in a cottage with three fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. 

Maleficent (evil villain that hates her) makes Aurora prick her finger on a spinning wheel which causes her to fall into an enchanted sleep. The only way that she can be awakened is by true loves first kiss. Thank goodness for prince Phillip. He has to fight off Maleficent who weirdly turns herself into an ugly dragon. After he stabs the dragon with his sword he races to the top of the tower to sleeping beauty's side. True love's kiss is administered and they live happily ever after. 

Britania or should we call her Snow White, has a similar tale to Sleeping Beauty, however, Snow White has more step mother issues. After Snow White's step mother sends a hit man out to kill her, she flees to the dark and scary forest where her sweet animal friends keep her company. Knowing that she can't go back to her castle and her evil step mother, Snow White finds an adorable little cottage tucked away in the woods. It turns out there are seven small dwarfs already living there. No biggy, they bunk together. 

Poor naive Snow White. Her evil step mother disguises herself as an old hag, literally she looks disgusting, and finds Snow White at her cottage. She gives Snow White a poison apple that puts her into an enchanted sleep. Nothing that Prince Charming can't fix though. They make one adorable couple and live happily ever after. 

I know that it looks like I have feet in the picture above but I really only have fins. Whats up, my name's Ariel. My dad is King Triton and I'm a troublemaker. I like to brake the rules and go up to the surface. On one such occasion I save a Prince from a shipwreck and fall in love. My dad finds out that I'm in love with a human and destroys my trove of treasures, including the statue of my prince. 

  In a desperate attempt to rebel I make a deal with the the evil sea witch and trade my magical voice for a pair of legs. I have to kiss Prince Eric before sunset on the third day or I turn into the Ursula's slave. There is a wedding that almost happens between Eric and Ursula but in the end Ursula is stabbed by a ship's bow. Thank goodness that my dad takes pity on me and gives me a permanent set of legs. I live happily ever after with prince Eric who is extremely attractive. 

Its good to know that we all have princess alter egos to take up our time via movies, internet, coloring books and more . We would love to know which princess you are so please leave us a comment with the information about what princess you are and why :)

The beginning!

Okay yay! Hannah here, this is our first post on our best friend blog and we're excited! I think that it would be very fitting to start off with a little bit of background about the three of us and how we became best friends.

The beginning: 
It all started on my first day of seventh grade. I was attending Centennial Middle School and was extremely nervous. The school was gigantic and I kept having to ask 8th graders and teachers where my classes were. By the end of the day I was exhausted and could not believe that I was expected to remember where all my classes were and the homework all my teachers had given me, thank goodness I only had one more class. I walked into English and picked out the perfect seat, right in the back. I listened to my teacher talk about class rules and deadlines for assignments. Then, she told us that we were going to split into pairs and play a get to know you game. We needed to pick a partner and complete the Scooby Doo madlibs together. Just as I was glancing around skeptically, the girl in front of me turned around. "Do you wanna be partners"? I said yes and soon found out that the girl's name was Britania Freeze, she had been uprooted by her parents from a small town outside of Chicago called Coal City, and we would be best friends from that moment on.

The Middle: 
Two years later Britania and I had dominated the Drama scene in middle school (being singing goat herders in the play Heidi, and the dancing Doiley sisters in the play Never Trust a City Slicker) and we were ready to move on to bigger and better. High School. Thank goodness by this point our braces had been removed and we had discovered flat irons. Freshman year is embarrassing for a number of reasons, you can't drive, the upper classman hate you, and you're required to take Freshman P.E. Unfortunately, I discovered that I didn't know anyone in my P.E class so I couldn't even be spared the humiliation of walking around the track alone. One day after sweating through my teen spirit deodorant I was changing in the locker room with the other girls. I mentioned something about my obsession with Lord of the Rings and to my surprise a girl with short blonde hair informed me that she too had a love for the movies. ENTER: Jenna Rasmussen. UPROOTED FROM: Kissimmee Florida. We soon found out that she filled in the last piece to our three piece puzzle.

The never ending end:
We are sophomores in college now, still inseparable, and always will be. I know how lucky I am that my two best friends moved across the country to change my life forever. <3
